On April 21, the Conservatory of Amsterdam will host the annual concert featuring 3rd and 4th-year Bachelor piano students by Ralph van Raat. The ambitious program showcases a diverse range of piano works by composers such as Schoenberg, Schnittke, Rautavaara, Ligeti, Joep Franssens, and Ann Southam.

The evening will highlight several specific Dutch masterpieces, including movements from Guus Janssen’s ‘Eleven Views of the Kinselmeer’ performed by Anastasiia Bohodysta, and Maxim Shalygin’s delicate étude ‘Au vent sur la pointe des pieds’ performed by Artur Buskov. Additionally, David Zielman will perform Willem Pijper’s Sonatina No. III, and Alexander Jansen will present a movement from Rudolf Escher’s ‘Arcana’.

Maxim Shalygin: Dolcissima
