Maxim Shalygin: ‘TO ALL ALIVE’ CD-release

This concert is the result of a 15-year collaboration between the pianist and the composer, and fulfils a long-held wish: to record the piano works that Shalygin composed between 2004 and 2024, mostly for Baryshevskyi, who is a great source of inspiration for the composer. The works, spanning 20 years, reflect a deep friendship, creative quest and mutual development. They also reflect their tireless contribution to enriching the piano literature with groundbreaking new works.
The opportunity to bring this album and its presentation to life is a wonderful gift to celebrate the composer’s 40th birthday.
