Nikos Kokolakis: Trails

Trails embodies a site-related sonic installation, drawing inspiration from the historical significance of the Decauville route in Florina, Greece. Amidst the enduring stone remnants of this structure, frozen in time, an immersive soundscape unfolds, weaving tales that resonate from both the past and the future. As the haunting echoes fill the space, a lone bell tolls from the collar of a wandering dog, prompting contemplation on the enigmatic figure it anticipates, evoking the essence of an awaited Ulysses.
