Padding, Ter Veldhuis and Bosmans by the RCO (Day of the Composer)

The Concertgebouw Orchestra has been playing an above average amount of new Dutch music in recent seasons. They recently proudly released a trio of recordings on their house label. Orchestra musicians combine brand new chamber music with work by Rob Dirksen, Martijn Padding, Henriëtte Bosmans and Jacob TV at their home base at 16 Gabriël Metsustraat.

A concert with violinist Vesko Eschkenazy, pianist Jeroen Bal and tuba player Perry Hoogendijk together with musicians from the Academy of the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Primo Ish-Hurwitz : Fragmenten

This spring, the UvA-Orchestra J.Pzn Sweelinck, conducted by Jurjen Hempel, presents a symphonic program in which three composers from different eras engage in a dialogue. The concert connects a contemporary premiere with a neoclassical ballet and a romantic symphony that serves as a source of inspiration.
