Patrick van Deurzen: Mancha Mancha! (World première)

Don Quixote of La Mancha. The legendary anti-hero of Miguel de Cervantes, who in his madness fought against windmills and flocks of sheep, is the protagonist in this first music theater work by Patrick van Deurzen. Writer Ernest van der Kwast wrote a new libretto, which he based on the tragicomic adventures of the knight-errant and his faithful squire Sancho Panza; a farce full of fights and misunderstandings.
