Brand-new music with a starring role for organ is the driving force behind this special evening. Ensemble Klang and adventurous organist Geerten van de Wetering have joined forces before, but in this full-evening epic of a concert they pull out all the stops for the second programme in the Orgelanders series.

Following a rare performance of Ligeti’s overwhelming Volumina, four Dutch composers are on hand, including a world premiere by Rozalie Hirs. Rick van Veldhuizen makes eager use of the pipe organ in his – Bruckner-based – Nulls & Voids. Not to be missed by all organ lovers and Klang fans!
