Roderik de Man: Voix étrangères

Between November 19th and 23rd, the biennial festival and competition focused fully on new music and harpsichord, Prix Annelie de Man, offers a colorful program full of contemporary music, both from Dutch and international composers, performers, rising stars and established names. Donemus composer Roderik de Man, wrote a brand new work for the competition, which will sound several times at the festival: during the harpsichord competition rounds and the final concert!

At the festival you can witness several world premieres, learn about harpsichord in the context of the 21st century during the festival’s symposium program, and more.

The festival celebrates the memory of Annelie de Man, who was not only a brilliant musician, but also a prominent pedagogue who inspired many harpsichordists and composers to take interest in contemporary literature for the instrument. The team of Prix Annelie de Man warmly invites you to join the celebration of her lasting legacy and community during the festival days (and beyond)

Prix 2025 Closing concert: Fusions & phases

The last night belongs to music that explores togetherness and celebrates beauty of collectivity: boi Akih & band fuse genres and musical traditions, Peter Jakober creates a new sonic world with his, phase-like, poly-tempo music, and festival’s artists come together for works of Roderik de Man, the man at the very heart of the festival and competition’s existence.
