Simeon ten Holt: Canto Ostinato

Star pianists Sandra and Jeroen have been playing together on both one and two pianos for over twenty years. Sandra Mol (1968) and Jeroen van Veen (1969) got to know each other improvising on the piano in 1987, when they were both studying at the Utrecht Conservatory. Their shared passion for music and music-making brought them to many concert halls. They gave concerts in America, Canada, Russia and many other countries.

The recording with Canto Ostinato by Simeon ten Holt received very favorable reviews and was labeled the best recording of his work by Ten Holt himself! In addition to the music of Simeon ten Holt, they also play with music by Carl Orff, Gustav Holst, Astor Piazzolla and Erik Satie, among others. Their specialization lies in the field of minimalists and related composers.
