Simeon ten Holt: Canto Ostinato by Dré Wapenaar

In the studio of Andreas Kunstein, pianist Dré Wapenaar plays the piano solo version of ‘Canto Ostinato’ (first movement) by Simeon ten Holt and compositions by Philip Glass, Francois Couperin and Georg Friedrich Handel.

Canto Ostinato is one of the most popular compositions of minimal music. Dré Wapenaar, artist and pianist, was good friends with Simeon ten Holt, the composer of Canto Ostinato, and worked out his interpretation with him.
