In a unique setup, the four grand pianos are positioned directly beneath the dome, while you, the audience, take your seats all around the musicians. This creates an intense, almost spatial listening experience that places you literally at the center of the music.

The Natalon Quartet will perform a 20-minute excerpt from each of Simeon ten Holt’s five full-length masterpieces. In addition to the beloved Canto Ostinato, you will hear Horizon, Lemniscaat, Meandres, and Incantatie IV.

With organic teamwork, an eye for detail, and subtle variations within Ten Holt’s grand musical arcs, the Natalon Quartet brings these works to life. Furthermore, the pianists will share inspiring and personal stories about their special bond with Simeon ten Holt, provide commentary on the music, and answer questions from the audience.
