Following the success of the previous two editions, Simeon ten Holt’s Canto Ostinato returns this year. This time, the performance moves from the familiar farm setting to the open air: right in the heart of nature near the Frisian village of Jorwert.

On Sunday, June 21, the enchanting, endless notes of this beloved work will fill this unique location, performed by pianists Wiebe Kaspers and Johannes Hibma. Those who listen to Canto Ostinato quickly lose all sense of time, an experience only heightened by the vast views over the meadows. Whether lying on a blanket in the grass by the pond with floating candles, or perched on a straw bale from the nearby farm, you can effortlessly surrender to the repetitive melodies. Even for the musicians, time fades into the background during the performance.
