On Wednesday, November 26th, pianist Marnix van de Poll will perform Canto Ostinato, an iconic work by Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt, at OLVG Oost hospital in Amsterdam.

This solo performance of Ten Holt’s masterpiece is an enchanting musical journey that combines meditative minimalism with emotional depth. As artist-in-residence at Ten Holt’s house, Marnix has spent countless hours performing on the composer’s grand piano. Marnix’s interpretations of Canto Ostinato are praised for their dynamic colors, emotional resonance, and authenticity.
