Many musicians asked to make an arrangement for their instrument. Just before his death, the Matangi Quartet asked Ten Holt to perform the work as a string quartet. Ten Holt agreed and challenged Matangi to experiment with his music. Marijn van Prooijen wrote the arrangement and Matangi takes listeners to a world of uncertainty and tension, but also of commitment and depth. It creates the opportunity to escape uncertain times.
