‘Bi-Ba’-Bo’ written in 1980 for vocal quartet by Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt will be used in a dance piece by Twyla Tharp Dance. Within two weeks in 14 performances at the Joyce Theater, New York. With boundary-breaking creative vision, revolutionary choreographer Twyla Tharp continues to expand her artistic range with two world premieres at The Joyce Theater. Her company, Twyla Tharp Dance, also offers a classic work, characterized by Tharp’s wit, technical precision, and joyful ease. Unpredictable and dynamic, Tharp’s creations solidify her place as one of the century’s most innovative choreographers.
