The possibilities of the voice are used to the maximum in this ‘minimal music’. The minimal changes in the patterns of this music create a sense of endlessness, which is enhanced by the long lines and continuous sounds of the singers. The music shifts so slowly that the changes are sometimes barely perceptible.
