Tilen Lebar at the International Rostrum of Composers 2025 in Slovenia.

The event, part of the Concert Studio of the Slovenian Composers’ Association, which celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025, will be part of the accompanying program of the International Composers’ Tribune Rostrum 2025. Rostrum is a traditional forum (it celebrated its 70th anniversary last year) and at the same time a competition of works by contemporary composers, organized by the International Music World with the support of participating public radio stations; It is intended to evaluate contemporary art music on the airwaves and its promotion and exchange between radio stations. Luka Juhart will perform a new version of his own composition Unleashed, which, with the release of exceptional musical energy, thrilled the delegates of the Rostrum in 2018, the composition Staticotion by Tilen Lebar, one of the best-rated in both the young and general categories of the Rostrum 2021, and another hit from his repertoire, Meditation on Proximity by Bojana Šaljić Podešva. Globokar’s latest work, The Return of Odysseus’ Son, will also be of particular interest. A conversation with Luka Juhart will be moderated by Primož Trdan after the concert.
