Toonzetters at Tromp Percussion Eindhoven! Toonzetters is a kaleidoscopic concert in which twenty young Dutch composers take you into their story. Different styles and characters, from neo-romantic percussion to indie rock on piano or jazzy electronics, are reviewed at a rapid pace. During an hour, a lively image of the time of music in the present day unfolds. Add to this the energetic playing of four excellent Dutch musicians, combined with the hypnotic film images by Bowie Verschuuren and the direction by Jos van Kan, and the tone for a unique concert seems to be set.
