The Tower of Babel

Together with the outstanding ensemble for early and new music Cantando Admont, Klangforum Wien presents current works by the Estonian composer Age Veeroos, the Belarusian Valery Voronov, the Russian composers Alexey Sysoev and Alexander Khubeev and the Kazakh Jamilia Jazylbekova. The portrait of a generation of composers in their early 50s is drawn, of which Alexander Khubeev, who has received many awards in Western Europe, stands out as the youngest.
