Royal Light Festival is a free-to-attend light art festival in the heart of Apeldoorn and nature reserve De Veluwe. The festival can be visited from Wednesday March 13th until Sunday March 17th, 2024. Light art from across the globe is showcased in various locations in Apeldoorn. As the sun sets, the royal and green city awakens, painting the night with colourful shades, creating a truly majestic spectacle for all to enjoy. During the Royal Light Festival 2024, eleven different light artworks can be admired! Orkest De Ereprijs will perform twice in the Grote Kerk.

Step into the Grote Kerk and enter another universe with “Alley of Light,” an art installation of 2,000 handmade lights. The changing intensity creates a dynamic space. Serge Schoemaker, combines his architectural background with this heavenly play of light.
