Vanessa Lann: Entranced by the Beckoning Light
In her solo recital Echo Chambers, pianist Nadezda Filippova wants to show that the piano can single-handedly open up entire sound worlds. She does this on the basis of impressionistic piano works such as Arabesques, L’Isle Joyeuse and Six épigraphes antiques by Claude Debussy, but also Echo Chambers by Juan Felipe Waller and Entranced by the Beckoning Light by Vanessa Lann.
