Victoria Vita Poleva: Liebesbotschaft

In the Ukrainian Poem programme, Ukrainian music is placed in dialogue with works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert.

Oleksandra Fedosova was born in Poltava (Ukraine). She has performed as a soloist at music festivals such as the Odessa Classic or the Music Festival in Bad Kissingen with Gidon Kremer, Christian Tetzlaff and Thomas Grossenbacher, among others. In 2018 she received the OPUS KLASSIK award as a pianist for the recording The Six Seasons with double bassist Roman Patkolo. As an orchestral musician, she has played in the Munich Radio Orchestra, under conductors such as Christian Thielemann, Paavo Järvi and Herbert Blomstedt, in concert halls such as the Philharmonie im Gasteig, the Tonhalle Zurich, the Konzerthaus Berlin and the KKL Lucerne.

Stefan Kägi comes from Domat/Ems and studied piano with Karl-Andreas Kolly, improvisation with Lucas Niggli, new music with See Siang Wong, jazz piano with Tim Kleinert and organ with Ursina Caflisch at the Zurich University of the Arts. He often plays improvised music and performs as a song accompanist. He has performed as a soloist at the Tonhalle Zurich, the LAC in Lugano, the Gasteig in Munich and at festivals such as the Dark Music Days in Reykjavik. Current projects include the Japanese HC techno band Candytoe and the duo TASAI with double bass player Heike Schäfer.

Maxim Shalygin: Dolcissima
