Victoria Vita Polevá: Simurgh-Quintet
The Warsaw Branch of the Polish Composers’ Union once again invites you to festival concerts. We will hear songs that we mostly did not know, including completely new ones. Great musicians will perform, and other composers (including 17th-century composers) will make their debut at the festival. We will recall the best and worst times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, academicians from Lviv will bring us beautiful – despite the bad times – music, after years of break we will welcome the full symphony orchestra, and we will end the festival in the amazing space of the post-modern church in Ursynów.
This time there will be fairy tales at the family concert. The fairy tales will only be audio, electronic and imaginary, and will be guided through them by an excellent guide. It just won’t help us judge which fairy tales are for children and which are for their parents. Well, it’s getting harder to tell the difference anyway.
