‘Soul’
for Violin, Piano and Strings 2022 (red.2024). This piece was commissioned by Ukrainian violinist Bogdana Pivnenko.
Victoria Vita Poleva:
‘The idea of the piece is the journey of the soul; continuity, non-stop, constancy of movement. Despite the intonation of the “sigh”, these are not complaints, not lamentations, but steps, steps of a tired person who does not give up.
This is a path that must be walked with dignity, without complaining.’
