Vladimir Martynov: The Beatitudes

Chamber concert by the Alba Regia Symphony Orchestra

A journey through contemporary works and Gregorian chants that reinterpret the figure and personality of the Virgin Mary. Imagine you are at an art exhibition held in a huge medieval cathedral, where numerous portraits of the Virgin Mary hang on the wall, each done in a different style, in a different era. Each representation is associated with a sound image that we will explore together.
