The Ibrahim Trio is known for its creative spirit and its ability to blend traditional music with contemporary expressions. The piece My Lament by Wassim Ibrahim was originally composed for a different ensemble, and was later performed in an ethnographic jazz style, drawing on traditional rhythms and local melodies to create a rich musical experience that balances reflection and innovation. 

Georgina Dance is inspired by a distinctive rhythm from the Levant called Georgina. It was originally composed for trumpet, cello, and piano, and later created in a second version for oud, hurdy-gurdy, and percussion in an ethnographic jazz oriental style, blending traditional Levantine rhythms with contemporary improvisation.
