Wilma Pistorius: Secret Compartment / Sakura / A.D.A / Ophiuchus

Interactive performance with Wilma Pistorius’ works ‘Secret Compartment‘ (toy piano), ‘Sakura‘ (cello & piano), ‘A.D.A.’ (solo cello), and ‘Ophiuchus‘ (The Busy Drone and two instruments), as well as 4’33” John Cage, ‘Orion‘ by Toru Takemitsu, and ‘Untitled‘ by Anne Veinberg. Performed by Wilma Pistorius (cello) and Anne Veinberg (toy piano’s).

‘Secret Compartment’ is an intimate and playful performance with newly composed music for cello, piano, and toy piano’s. The concert has interactive elements, and is inspired by the aesthetics of Zen art, and the astronomical objects catalogued by Charles Messier.
