Conductor Mikhail Menabde (photo) will give another performance in Kyiv, this time with Ukrainian bayanist-virtuoso Ihor Sayenko as soloist. The concert is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the creation of the Kyiv Chamber Orchestra. The programme includes works by Peteris Vasks, Sulchan Nassidse, Maxim Shalygin and Giya Kancheli.
Especially for this concert Maxim has made a new arrangement of the ‘Angel’ for solo bayan and chamber orchestra. Available arrangements for symphony orchestra, piano solo, piano duo, piano quintet, saxophone quartet, violin & cello solo with string orchestra and many others can be found on the website of Donemus Publishing.
