Nederlands Studenten Kamerkoor (NSK) performs Ton de Leeuw

This year, the Nederlands Studenten Kamerkoor (NSK) goes in search of transparency – inspired by Ton de Leeuw’s intriguing choral work Transparence, which is on their programme this year. What do voices sound like when they come together with complete clarity? How do we achieve that complete clarity, where everything shows itself as it is? When the haze lifts – gone noise, gone sizzle.

Transparent is a quest for coming together. Of Hammond organ and choir. Of singers and audience. Of music and movement. Of genres.

Discover how Johannes Brahms and Frank Ocean share the same passion, Olivier Messiaen and Herbie Hancock show equal passion for experimentation, and Ton de Leeuw and Harrie Bannink are also closer than expected.
