In 2024, the preliminaries of the Classical and Composition Competitions will coincide. Young composers can apply for one or both competitions. Registration is open between Oct. 2 and November 19, 2023.
Music releases emotions. When you hear that tasty tune, a big smile immediately appears on your face. Music is also a way to tell stories. You can let your imagination run wild. That is why we are organizing the Composition Competition again this year. If you are a composer and between the ages of 12 and 21, let us hear from you!
The competition consists of regional selections, a composition track and a final. You get the unique opportunity to present your music and receive feedback from a professional jury. Check out the jury members of 2024 here.
By participating in the competition you have a chance to win great prizes that will help you develop your skills, such as a master class with a composer of your choice, concert tickets or even a composition assignment.
