Love is one of those things: it comes and goes, or it comes and stays. A lot of drama fits between the courtship and (at best) some kind of happy ending. Art, literature and the cinema screens are full of it, but first the music.
The Keuris Quartet was founded in Amsterdam in 2013 and is named after the Dutch composer Tristan Keuris (1946-1996), whose oeuvre contains two highlights of the contemporary repertoire for saxophone quartet.
This August and September, Holland Opera will perform Chiel Meijering’s opera ‘Bluebeard’ in the ‘Werkspoorkathedraal’ in Utrecht. Bluebeard is the blood-curdling opera about a wealthy, mysterious man. He is both attractive and dangerous and harbors a dark secret. Young Judith is looking for a deep experience, for intensity. Bluebeard piques her curiosity.
Education Michael has a degree in English Literature from the State University of New York. Despite having no formal music education, he has an active international career in several aspects of the music business.

Celia Swart (1994, NL) is a new music composer, saxophone player and visual artist. Growing up playing saxophone and piano, she found her love for composing.
