NM 92103 – Fodor, Wilms and Messemaeckers: Fortepiano Music from the Netherlands

Sinfonia Rotterdam is going on an adventure! This year the orchestra will tour China and give several performances, including at the Qintai Music Festival in Wuhan and the open-air spectacle of the Lin Hua Shan Music Festival in Shenzhen, with the well-known crossover violinist David Garrett.

Johann Wilhelm Wilms was a Dutch-German composer, best known for setting the poem Wien Neêrlands Bloed to music,[1] which served as the Dutch national anthem from 1815 to 1932. Wilms was born in Witzhelden, a small town near Solingen.

Celia Swart (1994, NL) is a new music composer, saxophone player and visual artist. Growing up playing saxophone and piano, she found her love for composing.

Education Michael has a degree in English Literature from the State University of New York. Despite having no formal music education, he has an active international career in several aspects of the music business.
