Dick Kattenburg: Tempo di Blues for piano solo (in new piece by Amotz Plessner)
For the inauguration of the Anne Frank exhibit of the Museo de Memoria y Tolerancia in Mexico-City on June 12th, US composer Amotz Plessner has written a piece in the memory of Dick Kattenburg, which will find its world premiere at this event.
The composition for solo guitar is based on a theme of Kattenburg’s piano piece Tempo di Blues, and was commissioned by the PIAC Mexico (Patronato Industrial Aleman para la Cultura).
