Jacob ter Veldhuis / Jannum Kruidhof

Works for marimba duo by Jannum Kruidhof and Jacob ter Veldhuis on the tour program ‘Views from Dutch Trains’ by Mallet Collective.

Train travel sparks the imagination. You meet strangers, watch landscapes constantly change, and have time to reflect. But the train offers more than just beautiful views.

Sometimes you unexpectedly meet someone in the carriage. Sometimes you find yourself standing with many others on a crowded platform.

And sometimes you just manage to catch the last train home as the evening grows quiet.
