Maxim Shalygin: Canti d’inizio e fine (Maya Fridman)
The Czaar Peter House has been opening its doors to everyone for hundreds of years. Tsar Peter stayed in this simple wooden house in 1697. Many celebrities, leaders and culture lovers followed in the footsteps of the tsar. The cottage not only grew into a popular historical location, but also became a place where people from different worlds, with different opinions, met. Even in difficult times, the house is a place where comfort, wonder and dialogue are sought through art and culture.
Visit the autumn concerts in the garden of the Czaar Peterhuisje in October. Under the Anna Pavlovna tree in the garden, both Ukrainian and Russian artists will perform music by various composers. At the beginning of each concert they share a personal story. There is also the possibility to visit the Czaar Peter House.
Maya Fridman (Moscow) studied cello at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Maya has been initiating many anti-war concerts. On October 30 she will play music by Ukrainian and Russian composers such as Maxim Shalygin and Alexander Knaifel.
