Concert of music by contemporary Ukrainian composers: E. Stankovych, V. Sylvestrov, S. Lunyov, L. Sydorenko, M. Shalygin
A large concert “Modern and Timeless” will be held at the Bouquet Kyiv Stage 2025 festival, the program of which will include the best works of composers from the concert programs of the project of the same name, created in cooperation with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and co-creation with the conductor of the Kyiv Chamber Orchestra Natalia Ponomarchuk. This is a project that unites original concerts by contemporary Ukrainian composers who have already made a significant contribution to Ukrainian musical culture – Valentyn Sylvestrov, Svyatoslav Lunyov, Lyubava Sydorenko and Maxim Shalygin.
In addition to such a significant selection, the concert will feature music by the outstanding contemporary composer Yevhen Stankovych. This part of the program will present another project of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine “Dictum: a complete cycle of chamber symphonies by Yevhen Stankovych”, the ideological inspiration of which was Natalia Ponomarchuk – unprecedented in its significance for the preservation and popularization of the national musical heritage.
