Wassim Ibrahim: Salat- Al Amal Prayer of Hope
I composed this piece , It is written for a string trio with a rhythm that is both dance-like and deeply spiritual. The musical language draws on the mystical tones of chants from both churches and mosques in Damascus—echoes of Aramaic hymns and Islamic prayers.
This work is a call, a hope, and a prayer for a future filled with love, understanding, and peace.
