Van Woudenberg, Manneke and Badings

In line with Hollands Collectief’s aim to regularly showcase new music by Dutch composers, this program again features a great deal of local talent. In addition to the performance of existing work by Hans Leenders, completely new commissioned compositions by Rijndert van Woudenberg, Aart Strootman, Daan Manneke and Margreeth de Jong will be performed.

Composer and guitarist Rijndert van Woudenberg mixes Eastern with Western elements. For Hollands Collectief he wrote  You cannot travel within and stand still without. The singers sing and drum at the same time, like Eastern troubadours who want to tell their story. Later on, the voices mix with crystal glasses, a magical effect…
