Svyatoslav Lunyov & Maxim Shalygin
Unity is the word to describe the idea and composition of the concert.
The concert program, first of all, combines the Ukrainian and Georgian music of two genius composers – Giia Kancheli and Valentyn Sylvestrov. Not only are they the treasure of the world culture, they also were good friends and true like-minded people.
The concert program incorporates the works of several generations of composers: from great Masters Sylvestrov and Kancheli to Svyatoslav Lunyov and a representative of a young composer generation Maxim Shalyhin.
Chamber Orchestra of the Tbilisi State Theater of Opera and Ballet “Operna Camerata” performs the music together with the guest Ukrainian musicians. Ukrainian musicians come specially to Tbilisi to the concert.
Ukraine + Sakartvelo. Side by side – in music, in values; in their way to victory of Light over dark.
