For this moderated concert on May 10, Stanislav Kochanovsky has compiled a Russian program: Sergei Prokofiev’s “Cinderella” and the world premiere of Olga Rayeva’s “The Planet: Night Flight.” No, there are no three hazelnuts for Cinderella in this concert. Ten years ago, the Belgian spectralist Luc Brewaeys passed away. He was a composer of grand sound structures filled with fantastically coloured sound clouds. Antwerp-based I SOLISTI – a recurring guarantee for adventure – pays tribute to this sound wizard from their hometown. Talisker refers to a smoky whisky that Brewaeys liked to drink.
